Saint Theodore was the first bishop of Valais. As a patron saint of winemakers, he was also known as St. Jodern.

Pressed from the Chasselas (Gutedel) grape, this is a popular aperitif wine. It goes well with cold and hot cheese dishes, cured meats and much more.

Perfect pairings
As an aperitif, paired with cheese dishes such as raclette or fondue or as an accompaniment to traditional Valais dishes, crab and fish soup, seafood salad, prawn cocktail, cold meats, mussels and baked or grilled fish.

Tasting notes
Bright yellow colour. This popular all- rounder showcases its dry, authentic, floral, smooth, appetizing and vivacious nature. Its fruity nuances reflect the local terroir. Harvested at optimum maturity, it combines finesse, freshness and elegance in its flavours.
