Heida
Veritas is, above all, one thing: unique. Its exceptional authenticity stems from a rare
circumstance: it grows on its own roots, ungrafted. Thanks to the sandy slate
soils, it survived the phylloxera outbreak at the beginning of the 20th
century. This makes it the only own-rooted Heida in the world.
Intense
straw yellow, with a fine and delicate bouquet featuring aromas of citrus
fruits, exotic fruits, and apples. On the palate, it opens with a smooth,
rounded attack. The intense aromas recall apples, nuts, and orange peel. The
wine is full-bodied, yet harmonious and balanced. Its structure is clearly
defined. The finish is slightly bitter and exceptionally long-lasting.
