Resi is an ancient indigenous grape variety that has become extremely rare today. It is considered the quintessential high-altitude alpine grape. Around 1920, almost all vines in Valais were devastated by the American phylloxera. As a result, this irregularly producing variety is now found on only a few plots.
A rich bouquet of lemon and grapefruit notes unfolds immediately. On the palate, the wine is smooth on the attack and pleasantly fresh, accompanied by a distinctive and characterful aromatic profile. A wine of the old school—spicy and slightly bitter, with lively freshness and strong personality.
