Vitis | AOC | 75cl | 2024

Due to the slightly reddish color of its grapes, Gewürztraminer is also known as Red Traminer. Its exact origin is not clearly established, but it is most likely rooted in Southeastern Europe. The name derives from Tramin in South Tyrol, where the grape has been cultivated since the 11th century. In Valais, it is relatively rare and is seldom vinified as a single varietal.

Though vinified dry, this wine impresses with a full, round palate that lends it a delicate hint of sweetness. On the palate, spicy nuances harmonize beautifully with exotic fruit aromas. Characteristic notes of rose and lychee are typical of the variety.
